New Changes at Stillheart Institute!

Stillheart continues to undergo a major renovation, and we are expecting to open in November 2009. Take a look at the Online Photo Gallery to see the progress.

The newest change is that Stillheart is now a non-profit educational public benefit corporation. Stillheart’s new name is Stillheart Institute. In collaboration with others we will offer educational programs to stimulate and inspire health, balance and well-being.

Our mission continues to be that of providing a sanctuary for humanity -- a place for self-inquiry and transformation through educational and experiential programs. We work closely with nature and spirit in creating harmony and awareness of all aspects of Earth, seen and unseen.

The renovation of Stillheart Institute includes moving the entrance, adding an underground parking garage, administrative offices, an outdoor “room”, a rooftop garden over the garage, and wondrous tree house rooms. The tree house rooms offer guests an opportunity to be surrounded by giant redwoods as they sleep high above the ground or gaze into the forest with a bird’s eye view.

In addition, we are adding an elevator to the building so Stillheart Institute’s facilities are accessible to people who are physically challenged. The lodge exterior changed from logs to beautiful siding that blends with the surrounding forest and ensures that the building is seismically safe.

We are excited about these changes knowing that the wonderful energetic properties of Stillheart Institute are being enhanced. We are very grateful for the love, joy and transformation that people have experienced at Stillheart and we look forward to being together again very soon.

If you are interested in receiving notice of our scheduled reopening, please add your contact information on the “Request Info Form”.
